Lithuania 1919 Radviliskis to Tilsit Postcard Provisional MS

1919 postcard sent from Radviliskis (Radwilischken) to Tilsit with provisional manuscript cancel on Mi 52. Military censorship mark “M.P.k” (Militärische Postkontrolle Königsberg).

Lithuania 1919 Grodno Local Issue Stamps on Cover

1919 Grodno local issue stamps 50sk in black or red, complete perforated set of eight used on local cover, cancelled with violet Grodno Post Office violet seal, VF, expertized by Dr. Jemtschoujin, C.v. $400

Lithuania 1940 Recovery of Vilnius Mi 443U-448U Blocks x4

The Lithuania stamp set Mi 443-Mi448 was issued to celebrate the recovery of Vilnius. The imperforate set is very rare. Only 800, 200 and 800 stamps were issues, respectively.

Lithuania 1939 Semi Postal 60c+40c vertically imperforate

This Lithuania stamp (Mi 431) was issued to commemorate and support the third European Basketball Championship held in Kaunas, May 21-28, 1939. Vertically imperforate varieties of this stamp are not listed in the Michel catalog but are very rare.

Lithuania 1924 Air Post 20c yellow unwatermarked

This unwatermarked Air Post stamp of 1924 (Mi 220y) is among the great rarities of Lithuania philately. Only 600 stamps were issued. This particular item is signed by stamp expert Bloch.

Lithuania 1933 Zeppelin flown postcard to Brazil

Zeppelins carried a great deal of mail, mostly because zeppelin flights were the fastest way to send mail across the ocean in their day. The zeppelin flown covers and other philatelic covers are prized by stamp collectors. This nice 1933 zeppelin flown cover sent from Lithuania to Brazil is current listed on eBay.
