Lithuania 1939 European Basketball Championship Issue

This Lithuania stamp (Mi 430) was issued to commemorate and support the third European Basketball Championship held in Kaunas, May 21-28, 1939. Vertically imperforate varieties of this stamp are not listed in the Michel catalog but are rare.
