Lithuania 1933 transatlantic flight crash cover
The official flight committee issued cover No 390 carried aboard the tragic “Lituanica” flight from New York to Kaunas. Lituanica was an Bellanca CH-300 Pacemaker airplane flown by American-Lithuanian pilots Stephen Darius and Stanley T. Girenas.

An unauthorized issue by the Second Transatlantic Flight Committee to raise funds in sponsoring Lituanica II flight from New York to Kaunas (pilot Vaitkus). Overprint “Oro Paštas Lituanica II 1935 New York – Kaunas” on a 50 cent brown olive stamp, LPS 427, Mi 320. Dr. Klein (2012) certificate.
