Lithuania 1927 Dr. Basanavicius issue

Rarely seen vertically imperforate pair of 1927 Basanavicius issue, 25 cent (Mi 275Uw). This variety sold for $104 in Oct 2010.

Lithuania 1925 supplementary definitive issue

The the ruins of the castle of Kaunas, 60 cent (Wmk. intersecting mesh), imperforate between, bottom margin block of 4, never hinged. Klein certificate.

Rare as multiples – 1922 De Jure Issue, 50sk brown and violet with incorrect vignette inverted, imperforate sheet margin block of four.

Lithuania 1935 Lituanica II New York – Kaunas Overprint

An unauthorized issue by the Second Transatlantic Flight Committee to raise funds in sponsoring Lituanica II flight from New York to Kaunas (pilot Vaitkus). Overprint “Oro Paštas Lituanica II 1935 New York – Kaunas” on a 50 cent brown olive stamp (LPS 427). George Lindberg certificate.
