Lithuania 1919 registered cover to Basel

Nice but highly overpriced cover with a provisional registration in manuscript No 135 sent from Kaunas to Basel dated 3. VI. 1919.

Lithuania 1926 registered express cover to Germany

A nice philatelic cover with 1926 war orphans issue values (Mi 257-267). Scarce on cover.

A very rare 1920 Telšiai Postmaster’s provisional issue (30 sk.) on local cover to Varniai.

Lithuania the first definitive issue of 1922. Scarce color error of 1 Auksinas Mi # 94F. Very rare as multiples. Mi CV 240 €

Lithuania 1924 War Orphans values on a cover

A nice local philatelic cover in Siauliai franked with 1924 war orphans issue values 50c + 50c, 60c + 60c & 3L + 2L x2. Scarce on cover.

Lithuania 1935 Vaitkus Flight Cover Lituanica II

The 1935 flight cover No 943 carried on the second transatlantic flight from New York to Kaunas by a Lithuanian-American aviator Felix Waitkus (Feliksas Vaitkus). Cover is addressed to pilot’s family in the US. Similar cover No 951 franked with Mi 404 earlier this week sold for 850€ at the Christoph Gärtner.

Lithuania 1919 cover to Magdeburg, rare “Wilna” one-liner

A rare 1919 cover sent from Vilnius to Magdeburg, mixed franking, First and Second Vilnius issues, 15 sk. vertical pair and 20 sk., canceled by a purple provisional “Wilna” one-liner.

A rare 1919 cover sent from Vilnius to Magdeburg, First Vilnius issue stamps, 10 sk. and 15 sk. canceled by a purple provisional “Wilna” one-liner, Königsberg military censorship mark “M.P.k”.
