We are pleased to announce that our second virtual philatelic exhibition, LITHPEX-2022 is now open
The virtual philatelic exhibition is held under the patronage of the Union of Lithuanian Philatelists (Lietuvos Filatelistų Sąjunga – LFS) and the Lithuania Philatelic Society (LPS) will be on display online through March 11, 2022.
This online exhibition succeeded in bringing together a variety of entries in several philatelic exhibition classes: traditional, postal history, open, single frame, and literature across the competitive and non-competitive class categories.
This exhibition also shows the diversity of subject matter ranging from Lithuanian first issues, Berlin, Kaunas color and Child issues, postmark studies, air philately to the postal history of Vilnius, Švenčionys, deportees mail, etc.
We hope exhibition visitors will enjoy viewing these rarely seen items of Lithuanian philately – as remarkable stories that educate, entertain and stimulate further research and discussions.
Finally, if held regularly, we hope that such online exhibiting events will further advance Lithuanian philately and entice more people to share their collections and get involved in exhibiting.
