Canada Post's new postage stamp pays tribute to the officers of 1916's No. 2 Construction Battalion–100 years after its people won the benefit to fight abroad. During world war 1 black peoples were not allowed to serve in the Canadian army, but due to some reasons later govt recruited black men in their army.

They endured a considerable measure in the combat zone and in the military camp amid war days. This stamp was discharged to show Canadians appreciation to the great services offered by the battalion
